Easy to Adjust & Use
I'm using this set of jump ropes with the wrestling team that I coach. From light weights to heavier weights, the wrestlers' heights vary significantly. I like that there are 3 colors in the pack. I kept one color at full length for my taller wrestlers. I shortened another color for my medium height wrestlers, and I shortened the third color further for my shorter wrestlers. The ropes rotate well, and are a little more forgiving that the wire speed rope I have at home. My attached pic shows the mechanism used to adjust the length of a rope. Push the rope into the handle, and the black plastic compression fitting will emerge. It separates by pushing the outer sleeve back toward the handle, exposing the insert with tabs that grab onto the rope. Each individual piece (handle, sleeve, insert) slide easily along the rope. Once you have pulled the amount of excess rope through the 3 pieces, hold the 'insert' while sliding the sleeve over it to lock it in place on the rope. Cut the excess rope, then slide the handle over the compression fitting. Regarding rope length, I use the method of standing upright on the rope with one foot holding the rope to the ground. I hold the rope so that the base of one handle is at the bottom of my pectoral. I mark the rope where the other end meets my other pectoral. I adjust the position of the handle (see prior paragraph) so that the bottom of both handles are now at the bottom of each pectoral while holding the center of the rope to the ground under ONE foot.

    I had ordered these because buying jump ropes in bulk meant saving money. I did not have high hopes for the quality. It turns out that these are really nice. They are not as fancy as some, but they are decently durable. The ropes may eventually wear through because I am forced to jump on asphalt; however, it will take them several weeks if not months of consistent jumping for me to achieve this. The colors are pretty and several people have taken mine because they are lightweight and in the end, I was happy to have them in bulk. I will be buying these again when I need them.

    I use these for my wrestling team. Therefore they do get a lot of use. They only last about one season though because the plastic handle ends up cutting through the rope after a lot of use. I do wish they lasted longer, but you get what you pay for. I am happy with the product.

    Not the greatest quality for speed or adults to jumprope but for kids it is great! They don’t notice the difference and it helps their coordination and rhythm.
