    A More Gentle (Padding) 12" Pilates Circle

    I returned one 12" Pilates Ring by a different manufacturer because it hurt so much putting it between my thighs and ankles. This Ultra-Fit 12" Circle has better padding, therefore, a little more gentle on the thighs. I would have been black and blue from the one that I returned. If this is your problem, this is the one to buy. They do need, however, to repost their advertised exercises designed for this ring. I wrote to them about it. I just received the ring this past week.

    This brand new item was not taken out of the box for nearly two years. When it was taken out of the box, it had very little resistance, therefore, I cannot use it. The manufacturer and Amazon refused to refund any money. Needless to say I will not be purchasing any Balanced Body items in the future, or recommending them.

    I really can't recommend this to anyone with a basic strength foundation for adductors (inner thigh). I will say it's well-constructed and durable. However, there is very little resistance. It's also difficult to keep it in place while in use. I read all of these things in the reviews and ignored them — should have listened.

    I got this specifically to help me rehab a shoulder replacement. I think for standard Pilates exercises, you would want the larger one. But, this one is perfect for my rehab. It helps me stretch much farther in my exercises than using a cane or stick.
